Woodknot Bookshop and Turner's Cafe

Nothing beats a locally made pastry, a divine cup of coffee or tea and your favorite book nestled in a nook to savor these simple pleasures. Woodknot Bookshop and Turner's Cafe owners Megan and Kris bring the beauty and magic of Lake Memphremagog into their enchanting cafe and book store. 

There's a creative kid’s corner, complete with a reading castle for the children to enjoy the various children’s books the bookshop has to offer. On occasional Friday nights they keep the shop open until 8p, for local music performances or author events and book-signings, or even children’s holiday bedtime stories.

The couple is constantly thinking up new ideas on how to make the bookshop, as well as downtown Newport, an exciting place to be to gather with friends in the shop to spend time with friends and colleagues.
