Jocelyn & Cinta's Bake Shop is a MUST STOP for those relishing their sweet tooth.  Blueberry muffins bursting with flavor - scones to die for.  Fluffy pastries and pies that melt in your mouth with homemade deliciousness packed into every mouthwatering bite.  Owners Jocelyn Bourassa and Cinta Aherns bring their own established product lines to the business.
“We do pretty much anything,” said Bourassa. “If you think it, we can make it.”

Most recently, Aherns ran bakeries at the East Side Restaurant in Newport and Cinta’s Bake Shop in Derby, but for decades she's been known for her baking throughout the Northeast Kingdom. Four years ago, Vermont Life Magazine listed her as one of the top 10 best pie bakers. 

Bourassa got interested in baking while at the culinary program at the North Country Career Center. While in high school, she worked at the East Side Restaurant. From there she went to Johnson and Wales University, where she majored in Baking and Pastry Arts. Bourassa worked at various inns including Shaker Village, where she was a pastry chef. She was also the chef at NECAS’s bakery.
