Campground is located across from North Country Union High School. Great boating and fishing for Salmon, Trout, Bass, and Pike on Lake Memphremagog. Hiking trails, free showers, Playground, lighted tennis and basketball courts. Canoe and Paddle boat rental.

The MAC Center for the Arts  began with a small group of artists with our first space opening in 2007. Since then it has grown and become an integral part of Newport’s downtown as a vital destination for visual and performance art.

The Center's gallery offers the works of about 40 local artists for exhibit and sale. The works include fine art, photographs, pottery, fiber arts, jewelry, woodworking, folk art, cards, and more.
